After a late start, what better way to waste away the last of the autumn sunshine than a (not so gentle) jaunt around the woods at Felbrigg. We had a few hours to kill before moving on to the Lantern Parade at BeWilderwood, so we set off along the victory walk. However, someone within our happy throng, who shall remain anonymous, uttered the fateful words “let’s chose the path less trodden”. Whilst this is a wonderfully romantic nod to Robert Frost’s poem (look it up – it’s really good!) in the hands of two young children, it holds great power.…

Just spent a lovely afternoon at Felbrigg (as always!) This time we enjoyed their Easter egg trail which involved us following a simple map to various checkpoints where we undertook certain tasks. For example, we played a game of hide and seek (where 7yo couldn’t be found… she had climbed 30ft up a tree – how is that fair?). We also learnt how to play a grass trumpet, among many other things. Our two children were rewarded at the end with an Easter egg each, and we as a family took home memories of a beautiful family afternoon, laughing and…
