    Today, on the way back from a trip to High Altitude in Norwich, we decided to stop off at a favoured haunt to pick up some cakes. As always, the cakes were excellent! This time, however, we also picked up a lovely piece of original artwork to adorn Waverley.  This boat was by Emily Thorncroft, who just happened to be manning the shop, Gallery 10, as she does most Tuesdays, and was happy to chat about her and others works in the shop.     The ups and downs of High Altitude Trampoline Park

    This is a new one on us and, pun notwithstanding, there really were no downs. We arrived a bit late for our session but this did not hinder our enjoyment, largely due to the  helpfulness and friendliness of staff. Our two had great fun bouncing their way around the floor, taking a leap of faith onto the huge air pillow, shooting hoops and playing Trampoline dodge ball. They both finished up with worn out legs and a slushy to cool down. Coffee’s not bad either! A little distance from Waverley, but easily reachable by car (about 45 mins). Check out…

    Swimming at the Reef Leisure Centre

    This is our second visit to this top class facility. The building is brand new and is decked out with state of the art equipment. We went to a family swim session during which you can enjoy a paddle in the flat bottomed, warm toddler pool, be drenched by the splash pad, or takes things up a notch in the much larger, slightly cooler main swimming pool.
