After a late start, what better way to waste away the last of the autumn sunshine than a (not so gentle) jaunt around the woods at Felbrigg.<\/p>\n

However, someone within our happy throng, who shall remain anonymous, uttered the fateful words “let’s chose the path less trodden”. Whilst this is a wonderfully romantic nod to Robert Frost’s poem (look it up – it’s really good!) in the hands of two young children, it holds great power. Each fork of the path lead us down ever- narrower, ‘less travelled’ paths and away from previously explored routes.<\/p>\n
Whilst this was exciting and laden with discovery, it did make getting back to the house (or more importantly, the Squires Pantry) all the more time consuming.
