And we were not disappointed. The weather improved just as we sat down at one of the terrace tables (unfortunately right next to a door which lead to, what we assume was a dishwasher, so there was a little unwanted noise, but not enough to detract from the experience. We know which tables to choose next time!) and we chose a light lunch from the menus (there is also an extensive specials board as well).<\/p>\n<p>On paper, we had chosen a simple sandwich for me, and Abby and Thea shared a jacket potato, but when they arrived they were so much more than that. The salad <em>garnish<\/em> was larger than some salads in <em>lesser<\/em> establishments. And so fresh! We particularly liked the podded peas as a little something different!<\/p>\n<p>At \u00a3##, it wasn\u2019t the cheapest lunch we\u2019ve ever had, but the quality and freshness of the offering was worth every penny.
